Are the videos really done by just one person?
They are 100% done by just one person crouched underneath a table! Members will have access to Under the Table videos where you can watch as the chaos unfolds.
Are the videos really one continuous take?
Yes…mostly. Each posted video is from one take, but most videos have a few edits to cut out flubbed lines, props that went awry, or moments of deep breaths.
For example, in the What is Plastic? episode, the train came off the table super twisted up and it took a few extra moments to get it sorted. These extra moments were cut out, but the video is still all from the same take!
Are these videos for kids?
Nope! Though we hope that children watch and enjoy them, and we avoid using profanity, the videos are for people of all ages. We use (and explain) technical language and scientific terminology, and choose the video subject matter based on topics that we are interested in.
